Refugee Week 2020 – Calendar of Events
QueenSpark Books, the community publishers who have been producing books and leading projects on cultural heritage and local stories for the last 40 years, have recently launched their latest title, “Brighton: The Graphic Novel.” The book itself is the first ever book about the past and present history of Brighton in a graphic novel format, containing fourteen stories about the city. It was written, illustrated, edited, mentored and supervised by a team of around forty editors, artists and project workers.
Euro-Mernet team participated in the launch event and congratulated all the team members who produced this title and expressed the organisation’s wish to see more graphic novels in future with greater focus on the stories and memoirs of the diverse resident communities of Brighton and Hove, ranging from Mediterranean to Africa to Asia to Americas.
