Refugee Week 2020 – Calendar of Events
The Euro-Mernet team took part in a rally outside Hove Town Hall against a proposed 10 % cut to the voluntary and community sector. The issue of community grants was on the Brighton and Hove City council’s budget discussion agenda since last year. The peaceful demonstration and continuous hard work by the campaigning organisations and individuals resulted in the reversal of the proposed cut to grants.
